I have a 2010 C63
and after I took my car in the dealership I need to replace the following parts, "Shutoff vavle for activated charcoal canister" and a "Purge switch over valve"
Im looking through Rock Auto and can only locate "Vapor Canister Purge Valve"
is this the shutoff valve ? Also, there is a right and a left valve...
Someone please help!! lol

The problem is that MB hasen't given you all the information so you can stiff them--they are getting smarter.

Your car has to valves in the purging system--Y58\1=purge control valve and Y58\4=activated charcole filter shutoff valve.

Now all you have to do is call Rock Auto and ask them which one of theirs is required

OEdiscountparts has a catalog search where you can try and find part numbers. Then you can contact them with your VIN and they can confirm the part numbers are correct

On EPC I find the following that could be the parts:

A0014701393 - SHUTOFF VALVE ACTIVATED- CARBON FILTER

A0004708893 - PURGE VALVE

A2044700093 - REGENERATION VALVE

those 2 parts were listed as both defective
i will have to find the part #
because every retailer seems to have a different name for the same part.

Found A0004708893 as the Vapor Canister Purge Valve
now just trying to search for A0014701393
on rock auto...
reason why i am using rock auto is because they shipped to Canada before, not sure if the others do, such as Oemdiscountparts
