Congrats. Did you buy it sight unseen? What mod(s) do you have planned?

Yes, which is scary. It is stock now. Towards the end of the year It will get the usual, headers, tune, row boxes. I will re tint the windows and black out the chrome trim also get carbon fiber mirror covers, carbon fiber bootlid for now. It will be a weekend car.

Got a 5 year extended warranty in the deal, so I feel pretty safe buying unseen and it has clean carfax. It's a 1 owner car.

Hey congrats and welcome!
So you bought it from Motorcars of Georgia?
I hope you got a great deal. Is it a third party extended warranty?

It varies.
Congratulations on your purchase! The car looks beautiful. Should look even better with the mods you've got planned!

Very nice! Congrats!

Also I love your car history. Typhoons are awesome, always wanted one. And of course the E63 wagon!

Thanks. Those are all current cars. Wagon and Typhoon is the family cars and the others are the daily. BS will be the weekend car. Not bad having 3 rare vehicles in the garage.

Amazing car. Everytime I see a C63 BS I get overexcited, like I'm just a teenager again. Man, this is a beast.

I own a SLK 55 R171. There's a "friend" trying to convince me to get a Mars Red C63 BS. No Aero Kit (there are none with that kit in Brazil). I wish I could get some counseling/advising about the car: problems, issues, singularities. Would you mind sharing you researches about this beast with a fellow AMG petrolhead? I'll send you a PM. Big cheers on your new toy. May you two have great times together.

Welcome to the CBS club!

I highly recommend Weistec tune/tcu valvebody upgrade too. I have nothing but good things to say about the tune/ company. Also mode carbon makes great carbon vents that match the oem carbon weave.

The mod list you have sounds great but I'd advise against the window tint, look at abcut973 car. So much nicer showing off the gorgeous interior and tinting is so dated, looks so much classier without in my opinion. I just replaced all my rear windows since the glass was tinted not a film. Also had the Mercedes dealer add a clear UV film to protect it. Plus if your car is a weekend car like mine, you won't be parking in the sun everyday etc. I'll upload some pics in the near future. Also with the chrome wrap bits, I did matte black before but am changing to gloss since the roof rack line is gloss and the grille has gloss bits. Will show u at the end of the month.

Gorgeous car! Low miles?

has anyone tried to run a 325/30/19 tire in the rear of the car,325 increases the overall diameter by 12mm so perhaps the gap between the wheel arch and tire might be too tight, so maybe 305/30/19 is a better choice (6mm larger overall diameter vs 12mm). It seems everyone is running a 20inch wheel but I am trying my best to keep it 19" wheel, any advice on ET would be greatly appreciated, thinking mostly 19x11

I know a few CBS owners running 315 and 325 on 19s. But let's not high jack ops thread. Do a little digging on forum and u will see jcart running a 325 on a 12" (if I remember correctly) as u can't run that on an 11

Thanks for the info. Weistec is in my backyard so that's probably who I will go with. I have eurocharged on my wagon, so going another direction on the BS. Living in SoCal, I need the windows tinted.

Oh yes and I have probably been a difficult buyer but they handled me pretty well. I always have my wagon to drive when I need to get somewhere quickly. This will be a change though and can't wait.

Nice. How long did they say it would take from Georgia to So-Cal? I estimate seven days.

It could be there Saturday night, but they said count on delivery being Sunday. I had a friend buy a car from GA and he got it in 3 days.

Wow - that's really quick. I've shipped across country three times now and the fastest I've ever gotten was nine days. Good for you!
