rear carbon spoiler question
Bought a new carbonfiber spoiler for 09 c63, question how do I remove stock one I'm pretty sure it's held on with 3m should I use heat and fishing line also the new one is a little larger do you guys just use 3m or some sort of epoxy with the 3m ,just don't want to see it go flying down the highway hahaha

Yeah just don't try it on your plastic bumper like I did. And make sure you're careful and take your time with the fishing line, the paint under my spoiler got all scratched up because I didn't heat the adhesive enough and was in a hurry.

yea 3m wheel works so fast. i tried goo gone, 3m adhesive remover spray. those took 4ever. i even had my wife help me. she stood there for an hour working. then i got the 3m wheel. took all of 15 min

I used the fishing line and some of the citrus goo gone by letting it soak overnight and the next day its like sauce. Just wipes off and doesn't damage the car.
I have heard the wheel can be dangerous as it takes off clear coat but it seems it works for you guys.
