I've looked in to that and haven't been able to find one thing that suggests that line pressure is increased in manual mode. I talked to someone at Weistec and they said it did not increase line pressure. He was not a tuner though and unable to answer other basic questions I had so I'm not very confident in his response.
I have rebuilt .9 transmissions and have access to all of MB's documentation on the transmission. Is this a theory you have or did you read some where this is true?
