8 hours is book time according to mitchell labour guide. It can be done in about half the time if you have access to a lift and all the proper tools.

Don't forget to factor time to press on bearings, transfer ring gear.

You must use what they recommend for fluid which is 75w140. I use motul in mine.
I assume one is the drivers side bearing, and the other is the passenger side.
So I require 1 of each.

I've ordered the 2 seals, sealing compound and the 2 bearings from my dealer. No stock in South Africa, so they will get it from Germany.
So the parts should arrive at around the same time as the Wavetrac from the States.
Looking forward to getting a proper diff in the car.
I tried to drift around a circle the other day, and it doesn't work so well when only the inside wheel spins.

My quoted time was 6 hours and from memory the final invoice was in that range. Apparently it is a time consuming exercise because there is so much going on under the rear. Nothing like the simple swapping out of the the centre in an old Chev or Ford.
