2014 C63 AMG 507
New Owner!
Just picked up a 2014 C63 507 edition! Im already in love with the car however after reading a lot of posts on here, I've been seeing that for some, well actually all while in M mode the car will downshift automatically for you, while slowing down or coming to a stop. However for me my car doesn't automatically downshift and ends up coming to a stop at 3 or 4th gear.
And then I will have to press the downshift paddles if I want to get to gear 1 or 2. Why is it doing this? yes I know I can manually downshift with the paddle but I find it really jerky and want to see if the automatic downshift will be less jerky and produce a similar poping noise that occurs when downshifting manually

welcome to the forum and congrats on ur 507 edition!
It should come back to 1st at least when u come to a complete stop... Since it's a 2014 it should still be under warranty... Just take it to a dealer and get it checked out... Good luck!
