AutoTalent | FI Valvetronic Exhaust for W204 C63 AMG

AutoTalent Frequency Intelligent Mercedes W204 C63 AMG
Please PM or email: Golan@AutoTalent.com for pricing and info!

[b]Frequency Intelligent Valvetronic Exhaust System technology offers our cutting-edge intelligent ECU exhaust control valve, with an emphasis on the optimization of both acoustics and performance. It is a testament to our philosophy of the ultimate union of comfort and performance experience for the driver and passengers.
When the valves are fully open for maximum flow and power, it creates an exotic tone and allows for high performance. When the valves are closed, volume is reduced for a more low-profile comfortable drive.
With our latest technology, just one click on the remote control will setup any rpm to automatic mode. The automatic mode enables the system to detect the engine RPM to intelligently switch comfort/racing exhaust profiles. Users can also opt to simply switch valve on/off mode as desired by remote control when driving.
Furthermore, the muffler internals are individually designed and fabricated for each car model, a perfect testament of our insistence on producing the best customized products in the market with our Valvetronic technology for ultimate performance.
Each product has its own unique sound acoustics and performance, all to add the "extra" in extraordinary./b]

I purchased this exhaust from Auto Talent. Golan did a great job working with me, very responsive.

The exhaust install wasn't terribly bad. Routing all the vac lines was a bit annoying, especially because FI didn't give me enough vac line to connect everything nor did they give me enough t-fittings. But a quick trip to the local auto parts store fixed that.

The fitment was good and the sound is solid. I only got the cat back but with the valves open its a little louder than stock. But it's a little smoother. With valves closed, it's much quieter than stock. I'll be adding headers later in the summer so I hope the valves closed keep cold starts somewhat sane.

Overall I'm happy with it. I'm not sure I tapped into the right power wire for the control module but it turns on and off so I guess it's good.

The only couple issues are an annoying rattle with the valves closed and my car doesn't seem to be rev matching on downshifts. I can't imagine the latter is an issue with the exhaust.

I'll do so adjustments tomorrow but overall I'm happy with the exhaust and even happier with Auto Talents service.

So I've had the FI Exhaust catback on my car for about two weeks now. I really do like the sound. With the valves open and normal driving is very tame and smooth. The x-pipe likely is smoothing things out a bit. At WOT its a bit louder than stock and still aggressive. With the valves closed the volume is much quieter than stock. However, it does have an annoying rattle coming from the valves. With windows closed you can't hear it but I know it's there. You can hear it in the video. From what I've heard and been told it's not all that uncommon with valved exhausts but I'd love to figure out how to minimize it.

Fit and finish was great. Everything lined up pretty good and very easy to install. Running the vac lines was a bit time consuming but again not a terribly difficult deal. I do need to adjust things a bit because the tips are a little closer to the diffuser than I care for but that's easy enough as well.

I bought this to be paired up with a set of headers. I'm hoping the valves closed in the morning will keep things as civil as possible considering it's a big V8 with headers. I had a fully uncorked Evo X prior and my neighbors called me "The Rooster". Hopefully the closed valves keeps things at or below the sound levels of the Evo.

In any case, I like the exhaust and AutoTalent made the whole transaction very easy. Their post sale support (not that i've needed much of anything) has been fantastic too. I've had some stupid questions, which I'm sure can be annoying, but I've always received an extremely prompt and helpful response. I'll be working with them again to finish the exhaust and likely a few other things.

In any case, here are some pictures.

This is how the exhaust was packaged. For a heavy box shipped halfway across the world, everything was in perfect shape.

This might be a far reach but any chance of just buying the x-pipe?
