Newly finished wheels
Bought my 507 in December and it had 18's with snow tires on it looking like this:
Attachment 443661
I knew the factory wheels had some curb rash, and I got a great deal in the car so I'm not too upset, but I didn't realize how bad it was until I went to take the winter rubber off. Two of the wheels had like 3/4 of the outer ring gouged down, and the other two had curb rash all over.
I took it to a wheel refinisher and there was no way to save that raised outer lip. The only economical way to fix them was to throw the wheels up on a lathe and cut the last little bit of the lip off. I didn't really care for the black wheels either (they would look nice on a lighter colour imho, but I wanted some contrast with my darker grey) so I got them repaired and repainted in black then I had the face machined and cleared. I think they turned out pretty good. I got to keep the nice light and strong forged factory wheels, salvaged them from repair, and customized them a bit in the process. Now I just need new lug nuts because the old ones look a bit weathered compared with the new wheels :o
I also threw some 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 mpss on there while I was at it:

Amber alert!! yes, clear up the ambers or smoke them and it will look 10000x better.
I have been toying with the idea of getting different wheels for my car but I am struggling finding something that looks good. In my other cars, there are so many options of wheels that look really good.
In my opinion, it is really, really hard to find something that looks good on a silver C63 - better than the OEMs anyway.
