The idea has been bounced around here for a bit, and my piggy bank has a few extra pennies in it so I figured I'd throw this up and see what I'm missing.

Few ground rules in the hopes this catches on (perhaps even a sticky?)

** Vendors ** - Please post your own threads up. This thread should solely be for used parts from typical members.

Minimum requirements:

- A picture. Bonus points if you take pictures of your stuff with your username and date. This will just help point out scammers as well as suppress the pages that come once a scammer is exposed.

- A price. For the amount of complaints that come around for vendors not posting prices, I figure you guys shouldn't have a problem with this. Remember, when someone says OBO it means PM me so we can negotiate. So PLEASE don't flame away at members prices. Bring it to PMs between the two of you to discuss.

PM SELLERS IF YOU'RE INTERESTED - The idea here is that this thread is simply to show what you have for sale, not a full discussion on how ridiculous your asking price is or how awesome those wheels are. Please don't tell sellers to PM you. Once the thread gets going, there will be multiple sellers with multiple items so we don't know what or who you're talking about.

Once sold - Be sure to come back and edit your post. I recommend just deleting everything and leave a "SOLD"

Hopefully this catches on, consolidates everything into one thread, and leads to fewer new threads popping up with what people have for sale.

Agree with this, or, like other forums, require that price be posted in the ad.

I do not have many posts on this forum, but I have been around for years and have spent many hours searching and browsing threads (as we know most questions have been answered at this point), and what I have found is that the volume of for sale ads that are placed in the general C63 discussion area greatly detracts from the vast knowledge and many members who are willing to lend a helping hand on this forum. There are times where if you load up the C63 forum 75% or more of the front page is for sale ads (this was worse a few months back). This is not conducive to good discussion and open flow of knowledge; let alone attracting new members.

Thank you for the great idea PurpleHeartAMG. Hopefully this will catch on as it will really help to clean up the forum, and is the best solution available short of an Admin creating a separate "For Sale" subform in the W204 AMG forum. Another suggestion that I would ad is that when new for sale threads are posted in the general forum if a mod could move that thread to this thread it would really help to consolidate things and build awareness of this thread.

I have a few OEM parts sitting around if anyone needs them, ill post up pics later. Not sure what to ask for them, make me an offer? My car only has 15k miles and these parts have way less than that. Located in Orlando, FL.

-OEM US airboxes, MAF, filter and charcoal filter (~10k miles)
-OEM pre-fl tail lights (~12k miles)
