Your buddy's parents took the M3 and bought him a Dodge Dart...the first sensible thing I've heard. And it's not about the tires. It's about crashing...maybe dying or killing someone. Again, people don't learn things going fast first. Crawl, walk, run. The fact that you think that doing maintenance yourself will free up money for mods is ridiculous. That means 1) you have NO CLUE how much modding an AMG costs and 2) you have zero concept of a learning curve with regards to driving. You are a normal human being. You aren't Max Verstappen. You are about as good at driving as you are at sex meaning you think you are awesome but you probably suck. Here's an example of why people are telling you a C63 is a poor choice for your first car. It can get away from you pretty quickly.

@turborush I already take performance driving lessons both on the road and on the track. I have driven much faster and higher horse power cars before with on a problem also

Car control is not the issue. Judgement and decision making are the issues. Both of those require experience on the open road, not the relatively controlled area of a track. It's the difference between a shooting range or a training course and a combat situation. That response alone tells us that you lack judgement and the ability to self evaluate. Overconfidence is not kind to those with a 6.2L V8 under their right foot.

@chrisridebike8 I am a very good driver and know my way around the bedroom (so I've been told) i understand that I'm not very experienced driving but the first car i ever drove in my life was a Ferrari F430 Scud and that was at 14 years old. Ever since then i have only driven faster and higher horse power cars. So actually the C63 would be a step DOWN from what my parents let me whip

Please get one and wreck it so I can have a good laugh. Things have been too quiet lately on the 'retarded misspelling kid crashes his C63' front lately.

Nah @realjones i def didn't start my own business at 8 lol. I'm 17 right now and getting my license July 1. And yeah I'm obviously not spending my own money on it. Ill admit there are gunna be times when I'm going fast but its not gunna be all the time cuz changing tires all the time would be a *****. My friends first whip was an M3 put he got too many tickets and his parents took it from him and bought him a dodge dart. His M3 sits in his driveway now, well sits there when he's not whipping it using the spare key that his parents don't know about LOL
I'm 30 now. I started with a 2003 Lancer, then purchased a 2007 WRX, 2006 STI and recently a 2013 C63. I cannot express how bad it would have been had I owned this car at 17. Insurance would be insanely expensive at that age, maintenance is expensive, fuel efficiency is non-existent, and it's not a beginner friendly car. It's very fast, and gets to stupid speeds quickly. That is a very bad car for a new driver.
Guaranteed, you and your friends will do something stupid. We've all been there. It's better to do something stupid in a car that's cheap to fix or replace, and when you're not going to be traveling at 200 kph when you decide to **** around.
I hope your parents exercise some common sense and tell you no. Unfortunately I don't think that's a word you've heard enough by now.
You can try to convince us all you want that you're not like 99% of teenagers and somehow this is the right car for you. All you're doing here is looking for someone, anyone, to validate your idea even if it means ignoring all responses but one.

People are just salty when others have things handed to them. Especially the younger generation but at least you're not hiding the fact you know you're being given something of value.
It sounds like money isn't an issue.. Don't work on the car yourself. Have a real tech do things so you can at least point a finger if/when things go wrong.
We were all 17 once too and wanted to be flashy and I drove this and that and driving school blah blah. Neat, other people on the road didn't go to driving school. So while you might get down the road just fine sending that text, when a 50 year old driving a Kia doesn't check their blind spot it's going to be easy to point the finger at a 17 y/o in an AMG...
Regardless, just walk away from this thread. Nothing good will come of it. If you want to talk about the c63 go to the FAQ sticky and read. It's all in there... Don't get used to having everything handed to you in life (in general) otherwise you'll rarely feel like you accomplished anything and that's no way to live.

Nevermind, you proved me right.
If you're going to lie to people, do it to your first girlfriend in few years. Don't do it to people you don't know on the net. It's pathetic.
