Bagged C63

Yessir! Bags are more practical and being static, IMO. Granted, when I was static, I never had any trouble getting in and out of parking garages or anything anyways, and entrances were not friendly in HK for a lot of things.
The C63 is actually a relatively "low-friendly" car with it's short overhang I find.
Not sure which black wheels you're referring to?
I've had a set of OEM 19" Multispokes in Black, but yeah.
If you're referring to the wheels on the car, they're HRE P40SCs in Brushed Tinted Finish!
If somebody wants to buy them at a reasonable price I think I would
Nope! Haven't touched my fenders at all. 100% OEM.
I've used AirLift before on my VWs. Great bags, but, they don't make a lot of applications. Only for more popular vehicles.
Yup! I actually don't air out all that often. Maybe because I've bagged a bunch of cars prior to this.
So, the car is a P30, but when I picked it up off my friend, it had regular Struts/Springs installed in it. I'm not going to lie, the OEM Suspension, isn't what I'd consider "Comfortable". Especially on the OEM 19s, it was actually quite crashy/rough.
I then upgraded to a set of KW DDC Coilovers. These felt great! Could control the dampening with a button/iPhone App, wasn't bad at all. Probably the best coils you can buy for the W204 Platform, IMO. For the street at least, for the track, there's obviously better.
I did push the car a fair bit on the DDCs, and I thought that it was pretty good IMO. Much better than stock in that aspect, in terms of body-roll, and stiffness, and how the car responds and what-not.
In regards to the air, in my honest humble opinion, I think it feels even better than the DDCs. The DDCs, over large swooping bumps, felt...floaty. Hard to describe the feeling. I'm sure you could fine tune this setting away, with you being able to adjust every little thing, but I didn't.
The AirRex Struts, are firm, but also soft enough to provide a comfortable ride for my passengers and I, and when pushed hard, they also hold up quite well. Would they do well on a track? I don't doubt it. AirRex races a bunch of Minis on the trakc in their race series with Air, so, their struts are built to last, and they do it quite well IMO.
I personally think it's better than stock. Read above for more detailed response.

Air Lift is the company I have used in the past. I've used them for racing.

looks great mean! I think i follow you on instagram lol
Bags are the way to go if you have ****ty roads or are constantly going in and out of steep drive ways. If I didn't get such a deal on my BC coils I would deff have gone with a bagged set up again.
Don't like the way the bags look when you're aired out? just don't air out lol

Great question. Phil, I didn't know this was your car or else I'd have asked.
How does this compare to a good spring/strut combo? On the street, I'm sure it's quite comfortable, but how about pushing it hard in an on ramp/off ramp situation? How's bump steer, etc.? I am however, totally assuming that you push it, if not, that's totally cool too. Just thought I'd ask.

If I was going to track the car religiously, then yes, I would get a Coilover setup, but, for day-to-day driving, and hooning the car when I want to, bags are 100% the way to go.

So...
Figured i'd give the car a bit of an update.
I was going to sell the car for an F80 M3, had two sales lined up, and then they fell through. Decided to keep the car instead, and then I ordered a Prior Design Black Series Conversion for the PreFL Sedan.
It's arrived already, but, in the mean-time, I've made some changes that can't be seen.
1) I added some Dynamat Hoodliner on the underside of my hood. Figured with the engine heat, it's best to maybe keep some of that heat away from the CF too.
2) Installed Spoon Rigid Collars for the Front/Rear. Subframe fix. Not sure if it really did a whole lot, but, I got them for a good price. Subframe Fixes worked quite well on my VWs before, so, that's that.
3) Installed a MBTruthNorth Front Strut Bar from Kriston! Thanks again!
4) Installed the Racing Mishimoto Thermostat and also did a coolant flush!
5) Installed DEPO Facelift Taillights.
6) Installed ThinkWare F750 Front/Rear Car Camera
7) Added additional 5-Gallon Air Tank in the Trunk!
8) Replaced 2x Rear 02 Sensors
Car is currently at the shop on a hoist. Had the VB/TCU sent to Eurocharged to get that modified, just like the Weistec one.
Will also be getting the car dyno tuned this upcoming weekend, Jerry from EC is making a stop in Hong Kong!
After the tuning, the car is going into the body-shop for the Wide Body! Will test-fit for perfect wheel fitment, and then will order my new wheels! ETA everything looking to be finished around sometime end of November/Early December! Long way, but, well worth it!
Paint/install will take about 1-Month, and then 4-6 Weeks to order wheels after!

Excellent set up Phil. I personally like the look and think it was good you didn't get the f80 M3.
Side question: can you point me where to get your EXACT diffuser? Can you help me? The only big fin I can find has large overextended exhaust tip lips. I want that OEM look with bigger fins.
