SA just told me lumbar support is not standard equipment

The lumbar and bolsters weren't working so I finally got around to dropping it off at the dealership. The SA just told me that my car doesn't have lumbar as an option.

I don't have the sticker handy but I researched and don't find any credence that lumbar/bolster support seats are optional. What's even stranger is that he didn't know about the switches on the seats. I'm guessing that's not a major issue or he hasn't seen many C63s.

So...are adjustable lumbar and bolsters seats standard on a 2011 C63?

I thought they were standard. For what it's worth, mine have never worked since owning the car either

Really? Have you owned it since new? Well maybe there's veracity to his statement. In the 'current' setting it's perfect for my frame. I just always thought they needed to be repaired. Thanks

Anyone else have seats where the adjustments don't function?

No I have not owned mine since new. I bought it 2 years ago.
They are supposed to function. I just haven't dived off into disassembling to see why they don't work.

Nearly two years (and 3 SAs) later I finally got my lumbar seats working. My latest experience with Star Motors the SA said of course it should work. My lumbar pumps would blow the fuse. They found a short in the pump so they replaced both. I'm so pleased!

seems lumbar breaking is pretty common on these, some wires like to short out and blow the fuses after you adjust your seat too many times - pretty common lots of threads on here about it now working - glad they got you fixed up!
