anyone know where i can get the proper bolt length and size for 5mm spacers.

The 100% proper size for 5mm spacers would be a 33mm long thread length. We make one in 35mm which is what we would sell for the 5mm spacer option. The 2mm extra i hardly anything, it's slightly more than 1 turn on the thread.
