Very nice to see another HMS fender job complete. Looks good even with the change in shape to suit the FL cars rear bumper. That front lip looks great too.

Is the body work completed?
Don't get me wrong, i would have asked for or even demanded a better fit/panel gaps.
For example the part which goes on the door has a way too big of a gap between it and the fender.
And as you mentioned the bumper fitment.
You did probably put quiet some money into it on top of that it's irreversible since the quarter panels have been cut into.
Did you consider to use bondo/body filler to cover the gaps and to paint the parts including doors, quarter panel and bumper? Or maybe wrap it.
I would only settle for the perfect finish, so it looks like it came that way from Mercedes.
More like that:
Or even better like this one
Sorry I'm not trying to be a downer/hater.

The door gap is going to get re done but as for everything else that is the way it's staying I do not want it molded (bondo) as it always cracks with time and with the car seeing heavy track use it makes zero sense to mold the parts as for the bumper pieces we could get a little better fit but then the gap where it meets the quarter panel wasn't flush. I would agree that the mold looks better but I would rather fix one piece compared to a whole quarter or door if it gets damaged in the track
Finally got the new wheel tire set up
Forgestar c5v in dark bronze 19/9 front and 19/11 rears with 245/35/19 front and 325/30/19 rears as for the rubber Michelin pilot sport cup 2's
^Do you smile every time you see your car? And when you walk away, do you look back 5-7 times thinking about when you get to drive again?
Thing looks awesome. And 325's!
Haha yes! I honestly hated driving it with the old wheels and spacers on it they just looked off now much better and I was really unsure if the 325's were going to work but no rubbing as of yet the inner felt lining will need a slight trim but that's it I'll report back after this weekend when finished with a track event on any potential rubbing
Damn!! That's how this car should have looked in the first place. The tire width with a 325 on a 11" rim, since you mentioned you are going to the track, you will most likely get additional side wall flex as you got quite a bit of tire overhanging. The sport cup 2s though are very sticky, won't last you long, but sticky. I would say in the future, a 305 would be better for track events. The 325, definitely for car meets as the fitment looks spot on and very aggressive with the meaty sidewall.
