CCW Wheels help please!! Any input would help!
hello people..
Okay so my 09 c63 is being worked on and i don't have the car with me.. That being said i need measurements for Weld Wheels to make my custom wheels setup!
I will be having the HMS Tuning rear fenders installed as well which i believe gives me 40-50 mm more for the wheels and tire setup!
I need help filling this out:

I'm doing a 19/11 with -26 offset if that helps also with the HMS kit they arrive in a week I can let you know how they fit. Going down to a 17 the offset should be rite around there or a bit less if your trying to push an 11.5

okay cool.. Are you using any kind of spacers or anything? also do you think 17s will clear the rear brakes?

Currently I'm using 30mm spacers that Amg32 sold me even with those my wheels need to be pushed out another ten to fifteen mil. I will be using the spacers on my drag set up with 16in clk wheels to get them to clear the calipers. 17s should fit but you may need to trim the tabs off the brake pads

I think it was 40mm what I would do is get them installed and then take measurements to get the correct offsets I'll post pictures to my thread when my wheels come in its under

If I were you, I'd wait to buy wheels until after the kit is on. Then I'd take my OEM wheel, that I know the offset for, and use that as a guide. I'd just have the car off the ground with the wheel off and align it to where I wanted the wheel to end up sitting in relation to the fender. Then measure the distance between the face of the hub and the mounting surface of the wheel and go from there.
I'd be pissed if I gave it my best guess and was off by a few mm's so that it ended up being to sunk or poked too much and had to send wheels back to have them done again.
On the other hand, if you do end up getting wheels and are not 100% sure on the size, I'd go with an offset that was more aggressive, or stuck out more, so that in the event they did end up poking you could just have a few mm's of the mounting surface on the wheel shaved and you'd be good.
With that much time and money though I would do everything to be perfect no matter how time consuming that was.
I'd be pissed if I gave it my best guess and was off by a few mm's so that it ended up being to sunk or poked too much and had to send wheels back to have them done again.
On the other hand, if you do end up getting wheels and are not 100% sure on the size, I'd go with an offset that was more aggressive, or stuck out more, so that in the event they did end up poking you could just have a few mm's of the mounting surface on the wheel shaved and you'd be good.
With that much time and money though I would do everything to be perfect no matter how time consuming that was.

This is my car on 19X10 ET +52 with 50mm spacers. That gives an effective ET of +2. I am running MPSS 265/30/19.
Phil is right on with his fitment of 19x11 ET +13.
I actually ordered 20x11 ET +14 with 295/25/20 Pirelli. These run narrow and I wanted to be on the safe side.
With a straight edge on my wheel at 2* 25' of camber the face of my wheel is in ~ 2mm from the outside edge of the lip on the HMS flare.

Agreed. Install fenders, take measurements, and then order wheels. Patience, rushing things only causes things not work out properly.
That being said, I would recommend to go slightly less aggressive. Better to run a few MM spacer, to get it to sit perfect. Mainly because you can typically only shave about 5MM off the backpad. from my understanding that should work.. may just have to mod the brakes a little to fit the 17s.. i came up with the measurements from my setup right now and added some with and figured out the offset so it sits about the same close to the strut.. its 8.3mm further then the strut and sticks out 33.7mm more than what i have now..
current setup w/o fenders are
front 20 x 9 +32
rear 20 x 10.5 +42
with
front 235 30 20
rear 285 25 20
i know no rubber at all oh and i don't rub unless i hit a big pothole! which are everywhere smh

If your front fenders are stock, there's no way you're running a 9.5 +35 with a 265 on it. Even with camber that won't fit that great.
That setup is 3MM more aggressive, but you're going from a 235 to a 265.

Your photo is wrong.
You were running 235/30/20.
You'll be running 265/35/18 after.
Stretch gives you more clearance, a meaty tire gives you less.
a 265/35/18 on a 9.5, stretches much much less than a 235/30/20 on a 20x9.
I would venture a guess and say you'd rub.

hmm that interesting as far as i know i have no rub what so ever on my front, rear I'm not going to deny it..
oh and i am on h&r springs..
so you think go smaller than 265s
what do you think about switching to 9s and use 245/40/18 for the front it actually adds up better with the rears diameter wise.. 25.7" front and rear..
