Emissions Readiness Problems
Hey guys,
Wondering if anyone else has had this problem before. My amg hasn't been in the shop since march and no problems with the battery reset. I went last week to get my emissions done and it threw out 2 non-read codes, O2 and HTR (heater coil for O2). They told me to drive around more so i did. I went back today and the readiness codes are still faulting out. There's no check engine and no messages or scheduled maintenance information on the car.
What the heck is going on!?!? Any help would be great.

Your sig says "Performance Tuned". Quick search would have found this to be a very common problem. Odds are very high that your tuner turned off the sensors.
Recommendation is to contact the tuner, see if this is the case, and ask for a fix.

Were the fault codes for primary or secondary O2? If primary, maybe just your sensors have gone bad. If secondary, then I agree with the tuning comment above as the likely culprit.

OK. I'll take a look at them. The readiness codes didn't specify primary or secondary.
Out of curiosity, why would this not have thrown a check engine? Secondly, if it was the tune, why 4 years later?
