EUROCHARGED TUNE

Hello All Members.....

Just joined this forum and also new to the AMG Family!!!!

I have a bone stock C63 2013 and wanted to know is it worth having an Eurocharged Tune on it using the handheld????

I am not modifying another part for now only want to get a tune....

Every bit of experienced advise would be appreciated!!!!

Be sure to check out read THE OFFICIAL W204 AMG FAQ (Including Stickies) and New here, and want to know how to find your info?.You will find most, if not all your answers that way. Eurocharge is a great company and vendor on here. There are also tons of other great vendors too. Do your research and decide, but you can't go wrong with a Eurocharge tune. Any tune to your stock C63, you will feel the difference and enjoy it. Also post some pics .

Let me put it to you this way:

If you were buying your car new and while you were filling out the order form noticed an option box offering 30-60 horsepower for less than $1000, would you put a tick in that box?

MOAR POWER. Done.

Would you still check that box if there was a smaller box under it that said: "Accepting the extra horsepower offer also means that you agree that MB can at any time, for any reason, at their sole discretion, revoke your warranty and deny any claims."

Would you still do it? Because it's pretty much true.

Can they still find it if you flash back to stock?

WHOA. That is a way oversimplification bordering on untruth.

Im on the road today so I don't have time to get fully into it but perhaps someone else could.

But lets just start with "your warranty". Even if I put a supercharger on my car, they cannot just void "my warranty", as if they could take away the whole thing on the whole car.

Lets follow that up with hearing from everyone (out of the god knows how many cars are tuned out there) who has had their warranty voided in some way for having a tune.
***crickets chirping***

I have tuned 5 different cars, from 3 manufacturers, and spent a ton of time online and never talked to anyone who has had their warranty voided. Is it in some way a possibility? Yes, in some limited form. Does it happen? Not unless you are a brazen idiot.
This has been discussed ad infinitum tho. Lots of threads if anyone searches.

Also, BLKROKT, you are stirring the pot a little here, cos I know whats in your car lol.

I'm just playing Devil's Advocate. My car is way past the point of no return.

However I have been told by a certain MB dealer that they would flag my car and revoke my warranty if I put on headers. Can they do it? I think so. I also don't care.

Its always been my thought that if you don't make it brazenly obvious then they won't really call you on stuff, but if its easy to see with the naked eye they have to consider that they do deal with the manufacturers rep on stuff. If that rep comes in and says "hey now, wtf....?" then their life is sticky too.

Headers would fall in line with that. Although headers on a Chev would be a "whatever" type event. I think you'd be hard pressed to show headers causing any issues, but I guess headers on an AMG is usually a sign of a lot more going on.
