BS windshield

Hey guys, I went to a track day on local track here and finally won a prize: a rock to my windshield LOL. I laughed so hard before I broke down in tears, as the official dealer here charged me 7.800,00 BRL ( 1usd = 3,5brl, do the math).

So after some research I found out that the sedan windshield has the same partnumber as the coupé (mbonline parts states that info regarding 2012 C63 BS and 2012 C250, which I imagine being the sedan).

Is that 100% true? If so, it would cut the expenses in 75% or more.

Eager to hear news from you. Big thank you in advance.

in my experience, the sedan and coupe do not share the same windshield. When I filed a claim to have the windshield replaced, I left the car with my shop and 10 minutes later they called me saying they ordered for the sedan by mistake, and I would have to come back in a week. Hopefully you can still get a C250 coupe windshield and save some.

Well, probably I'm not identifying the correct chassis, as the C250 "base" seems to be a coupé? Because the C250 luxury has a diferent part number for the windshield, which I imagine it's the sedan.. I'm probably doomed anyways. Still hoping for good news.

EDIT: digging deeper, I found out this: http://www.mbpartsworld.com/showAsse...rimLevel=20525

and: http://www.mbpartsworld.com/showAsse...rimLevel=20601 - which I selected the 2012 C 250 CGI RWD sedan.

Sorry for so many posts to my own question, but I'm just trying to explain my doubt. Will wait for some advice from more experienced friends.
