This probably varies by state but how long does this custom plate thing take? I submitted mine about a month ago, didn't think it would take this long but MVA is MVA I guess.

On the application it says 6-8 weeks; but the tag acency said up to 3 months.

Finally got the call to pick up the new plate today. Took nearly 4 months. Thought it may not have been approved.

Ordered an AMG license plate frame too... not feeling the smoke shield anymore.

I honestly can't believe it either. I've been waiting so long for it, I expected an awkward phone call was coming any day; "sir, we have a problem"

The tag lady even laughed as she brought it over today. She couldn't believe it was approved either.

I think that is the AZ style plate I'm going get. I like that a lot! I wanted the all black Cardinals plate and black out the Cardinal and the team name but I heard that's illegal. So I think this is the second best. Now to figure out what I want my custom plate to say?
