Need new hood....
Guys,
Thanks to hurricane Matthew, I am now in the market for a new hood. During storm clean up, I had the car out in the driveway because it hadn't been driven in almost two weeks. A branch from a massive pine in the yard finished breaking loose and fell right on the hood. It's toast.
I was thinking about going to carbon fiber, but was wanting to hear about what you guys had used and your thoughts as far as quality, fitment, etc of the available options. Thanks for your input in advance.

Ugh that SUCKS! Sorry to hear bud.
I might be getting rid of my hood soon for, uh, something else. Not sure if it's worth shipping, or if you even want to go through the hassle of converting to a FL front clip. Just throwing it out there. Hey, at least it's black.
Prob not going to VIR, it's full up. Waitlisted. So any chance of throwing it in the back somehow and driving down probably ain't gonna happen.

Dude, it sucked. Not even worth posting pictures due to the half-*** way it was hit.
BLKRKT, you get moved in completely? I'll keep you posted on going back to VIR. Daytona in December is still a go for me. I know you've got family in town but you should at least think about flying in and renting a car. Do it.
Thanks for the heads up on everything here guys. I like the GT style hood. What about Dad's hood? Are they still available?

Re Dad's hood: It appears Suncoast Creations is restructuring. Not sure how long it is going to be.
