No way. Don't regret it man. PreFL has a much more aggressive look, almost DTM bad boy racer-ish. Personally, I like it better, tho I do like the newer interior.
Work with that Pre-FL and you'll be stylin', profiling' and smilin'.
Could be a Mode carbon? But looks just like my RW Carbon DTM Spoiler.

Word.
I like the newer interior of the FL as well, but the hood vents and bumper of a PFL are more aggressive looking in my opinion.
But as noted in this thread, with a couple of mods, a FL looks fantastic.

Yeah, I much prefer the earlier front end with the round fog lights. The LEDs almost blew me out on the FL, and I still think they look cheap, tho blacking them helped somewhat.
The one update I did on the last car (09) was the tail-lights, going to the LEDs that look like those in the FL. That REALLY updated the look, in a big big way. I just went with the Depots tho, cos I wasn't into the cost of the OEMs or the hassle of the SAM recode since I knew I was gonna trade in pretty soon.Totally recommend at least some version of that mod, cos it made my car look much newer in terms of tech, and styling given the smoothness of shape.

Yea, that was one of my stipulations before I bought it: Had to have LED tails. I've seen em without the lighting package and it makes it look dated.
I also have to say the other thing I do not like about the FL is the way they scalloped the hood around the headlights. Visually, it makes the front end much shorter. Thats probably what they were going for based on feedback from a focus group of B-Class owners, but to me that was one of the things that made it distinct not just from other C-Class but from all other cars in general and really contributed to that tough look. Not only that but the longer edge of the hood finished lower, so it really helped give the car more rake and stance.
Yo, celebrate your PFL. Ive had both, and I like both, but that first car was special. To me it had the purest, unfiltered AMG vision and was what was originally intended. When that thing came out it cranked heads, and was a bad *** like no others. The new ones roll by and even owners can scarcely tell them from C300s.
See that tells you how old school I am as I know that, but it goes right outta my head!
On track its a little easier to remember tho cos of the change of environment. That, and sometimes I have a life size bobble head beside me to yell at me lol.
Would you be referring to she who shall be listened to? Dangerous speech my friend. I gather she doesn't read this site.
I bought a JB Sport spoiler last week because the one that was supposed to be there according to my data card was not present. Fit was excellent as was the quality. I just bought the more simple design but they do have others.

As far as I am concerned except perhaps with the S class, it is very difficult to distinguish one current Benz sedan from the next. They all look about the same and this pre-occupation with the proboscus nose design sucks as far as I am concerned. BMW reshapes the grill kidneys and moves them around but they stay with the basic tradition. You can also distinquish a 3 from a 5 from an 8 with out much fuss.
On top of the design of course you can no longer determine what is under the hood so easily. You have to know what engine is each model designation e.g. C300 2L 4 vs C400 3L V6 .
I just keep reading about the drools on that car from guys saying much like AMG3.2, (I dont like facelift coupes but...)
and so I went back for another look to see whats up with that. MBMarko, you may have found a car with some nice
extras, so lets talk about what we can see there that isn't stock.
Some tint of course, and de-ambered marker lights. Small items, but always a clue modding lies ahead.
Its lowered, we can see that just from the rake that it has but also look at rear wheel wells.
To me, this car looks somewhat lowered. If so, it has new springs or maybe even coil-overs.
Would be worth sliding under to see there Marko.
It has an aftermarket big rear spoiler.....
and also a new CF big fin rear diffuser....
Some nice tasteful mods adding up to an exceptionally good looking coupe.
Two questions tho...
Look at how flush the rims are...do you think there are spacers?
Im not as familiar with the 507 wheels, but mine arent that flush without spacers...
and can anyone with better eyes than mine tell if there is a different front spoiler?
Hard for me to tell from these pic of black on black. I think there may be, but
I wouldnt testify to that in court.
MBMarko, you may have just found yourself a very nicely modded 507 there.
love the write up Thank you hahaha, I was meant to say options wise. the list is on the dealership page hahaha.
I like where this thread is going though!
I can't wait to go see it tomorrow!
if it has all that ill be happy, that means the only thing ill really need to do is get a nice tune done. I know i can get headers and other things but, I'm poor and will be working lots of side jobs to afford this car. (my dream car so i feel its worth it while I'm still young(28)).
plus my fiancé gave me the OK to get it if we both love it! she loves sport cars for some reason (i brain wash her with car stuff all the time)
I'm probably going to pay to have MB inspect the car before I buy it anyways, also get the extended warranty if possible.

Can you post up a link to that? The MB Canada site has been changed recently and it is brutal for trying to find used cars nationally. I don't see it at the Thornhill or DT Toronto dealership and don't know of any others. There is a list of the options on the auto trader but no mention of this stuff.
I just scored the AMG winter package that MB sold (18"x8 AMG OEM rims, Conti snow tires 235/40/18, and TPMS), all with only about 1000km and ultra mint for $1000 CDN. Super stoked about that With tax it was over 5k new at Stealership prices.
Wow, that's awesome! Also nicely done with the analysis on the car

I agree with this 10000000%, and that is why I think prefacelift looks better. The facelift interior is better yes but exterior styling I think took a step back. I personally think the w205 looks less aggressive (and worse imo) as well, but of course they mask that with the rims and detailing.
Looks like the car I was looking at when I was searching for a c63 about a month ago. It was on autotrader (private sale).
If it is the same car, then I believe it has these mods:
245/265 Michelin PSS
Eurocharged ECU tune with handheld tuner
Lowered on H&R lowering springs with front and rear H&R spacers
K Mac front camber and caster kit
K Mac rear camber and toe kit
Mode carbon spoiler and rear diffuser
Aftermarket exhaust: H-pipe and straight pipes
AMG door lock pins

All in all, it's a beautiful looking car.
Looks like we have a winner, in all senses of the word.
Can confirm door pins
And this sure looks like a Mode Carbon tag, though it is a little pixelated.
Both pieces certainly match Mode Carbon products.
This is a very nicely modded car, done right, using quality products!
You are all correct regarding the upgrades as I was the previous owner I traded it in at Pfaff Porsche for a 911 Carrera S. I do miss the torque of the NA V8 but am very happy with the upgrade. Additionally it also has AfE filters and the H Pipe is Mikes Power Pipe. The stock tune is on the car but if you end up buying it, I can sell you the handheld tuner so you can put the Eurocharged V5 on it.
Car also had opticoat applied in April 2015.
I owned the car from 800km's until I traded it in and had no problems. It was serviced regularly at MB Oakville and was never winter driven.
Regarding the accident, it was extremely minor. I was stopped on a highway off ramp and so was the truck behind me. He let off the brakes and nudged me, leaving a small hole in the bumper. Being a German car, all repairs are quite expensive so they replaced the whole bumper and trunk lid. No damage to the exhaust or anything else. All repair work was done by the Oakville MB Collision Center.
Any questions, let me know but you would be buying a great car!
Saw the car car today it's unreal but the dealer only moved $800 which was surprising. I offered 62k they flat out said no.... MB Mavis had a 2013 p31 sedan for 54 they moved 5k when we talked numbers if the interior wasn't white it would of been mine.
im stuck on is it worth paying 10k more for the 507 when I could probably buy a p31 and put about 5k in mods in it and make it just as sweet
They also gave me 19k trade on my c300 but damn in less than 2 years I lost 12k on the car that ****ing hurts.
if they only accepted 62 it would of been a done deal.
