Any specific things to do check out before warranty ends?

My warranty is going to end soon because of mileage. I initially thought I had a good year and half but I am getting close to where my warranty will end soon.

2013 car with about 44k miles. Since owning since June I have put almost 14k miles. Here is what I have noticed and observed in the 14k miles.

Sometimes I have noticed I have a tapping noise/chattering from the motor even after the car has warmed up. It is random and I cannot replicate it but it sounds like lifters to me.

The car idles fine but sometimes I feel some vibrations here and there that don't feel like the normal big engine vibrations.... and thought it must be motor mounts. Also get a weird vibrations once in a while from the steering wheel at parking level speeds.

The transmission is good but sometimes is clunky and aloof in C mode if there is a hill and or traffic involved. I have chalked this up to being normal and it doesn't bother me anymore.

I just had the transmission service done and had dealer look at all my concerns. They said nothing is wrong and vibration and everything is normal. Said car looks and appears to be great. They said to bring it back if I experience that stuff again.

What do you guys suggest checking out and getting checked out before my warranty completely ends? I know the power steering and lifters are somewhat a issue on these cars.... same with the motor mounts so I definitely want it all done under warranty if they have to be done.

Any other suggestions or tips? I really love this car and plan on keeping it forever and want to keep it in great condition.

--- Also my interior is solid white porcelain. The bolster on driver side has faded away and looks really bad and I think previous owner was wide guy so poor bolster had really short life. Any of you guys got this fix under warranty lol?

Power steering and lifters were more an issue on PFL cars. I'd definitely get the motor mounts checked. Other than that, just maintain it. Should be g2g.

In The same boat with my 2013. Just finished Service B and next day blower went. So I would check that. Turned it on, got all indications that it should be working, no air. Was replaced under warranty of course, but I had just over 38000 miles on her

Yeah, I'd argue that things like the blower motor aren't going to show that they need replacing until they fail. Just tell the dealer to look over the car really well. I did that and the tech told me he looked at everything, especially the mounts and everything was in great working order. I have a great relationship with my dealer though and trust them. If your dealer sucks then maybe pay a small fee and just take it to a good indy shop and basically have them do a PPI.

My diff seems to be leaking lightly at the axle seals at 40k (It is the LSD), going to have it checked out this week under warranty, it isn't a bad leak, more of a weep, but it is wet on the outside from pretty much the top of the axles down, so not coming from one of the drain or fill holes.

I got my rear section of the exhaust replaced with the tips as they go black and corrode. Thats was even with cleaning, metal polish and wax. The replacement is holding up well though.

I have also had a problem with the car feeling floaty and wondering, they told me it was tyres and changed them and it didnt fix the problem. It has eventually got worse and out of the 3 year warranty but I bought the extended warrenty before it finished. I recently took the car to an independent merc specialist who showed me play in the upper front control arms which the 5 other c63's in the shop didnt do and some were alot older! Mine only has 24k milage. I took it back to merc and told them the problem and they said the play wasnt enough to cause the problem and wouldnt change them. So I rung Merc extended warrenty and they told them to replace them I also found a guy with the same symptoms and he changed them and it fixed the car.

I tried to get them to replace mine as the chrome is eaten off the exhaust tips and they declined to do it, may contact Mercedes directly on it, but apparently in the US at least exhaust cosmetics are not covered.

This is what the warranty says which seems like an out

Paint and Other Appearance Items.

It shouldnt be doing it on an expensive car, none of my previous cars have done it. I would go back to them as they probably tried to not do it because they have to replace the whole rear end of the exhaust system up to the center of the car. I didnt wait till it was 3 year old to do it though, it was 1.5 years old with about 12k milage.
