It's a pretty violent jerk. I even noticed it at 3500RPM as I was cradling the car in traffic.
Here's a scenario:
Lift at ~4000RPM
Let engine compress down to 3500RPM
Get back on throttle and it jerks forward violently at the first touch of the throttle
I'm gonna get some more seat time with the tune tonight. I'm hoping it just needs time to adapt. Otherwise I'm going to revert back to V5.

And thanks for testing it out

Going back to v5, or get a v6 'normal' tune.
In C, S, S+ seems to be no different than v5. Can't say it is any smoother than v5.
M is normal as long as you don't coast from high rpm for the aforementioned issues. Downshifting in M and getting on it hard seems to be smooth. The pops and crackles are definitely there, but I much prefer the popping/crackling/fire from my other cars which do it without cats.

Just uploaded v6 and noticed the same.

The burbles/crackles seemed about the same till I let off at higher rpm...haha. It's like a supra spooling up then backfiring "machine gun", to the point it's tuner/ricerish. It does not fit the car.
The 7500 rpm was nice. It is a nice little buffer at the top end. The fuel cutoff works as normal. Everything works great on that.
Has anyone else with the tune, noticed a sound change, almost like it is a bit muffled now, not as aggressive? I tested in M, did some revs under bridges, WOT runs, all sounded a bit muffled.
Overall, I will prob switch back to v5, it was nice to be able to test new things though. The quickness and customer service of EC was fantastic as usual. The install was quick and simple. I would still say to try out the v6 tune just to see/test and maybe it will be something you like.
**Updated**
Jerry sent over the new adjusted tune, went for a short drive and everything feels great, like it should. Will update more in a day.
**Next Day**
The car drives and performs great. The burbles/pops were toned down some by Jerry and they are not annoying now and fit the car. The shifts are smooth and amazing. No more jerkiness.
I still feel like the v5 is more aggressive of a tune. The only thing I noticed with the v6 was the not as loud/aggressive downshifts or normal noise acceleration (not muffled, just not as loud). It probably has to do with the smoother shifting. That is just my preference and what I observed. Besides that, the tune is great and tons of people will like it. Thank you again Jerry and EC.

Hmmmm. I have not noticed the jerkiness w the full throttle back off, then on.
So far it's a win for me. I don't see a reason to go back to v5. I will continue to observe the car's behaviour and report back.
Was supposed to do a drag strip day today but most of the guys are heading back from atco. Hopefully someone will throw something together for friday.

That jerkiness scared the crap out of me after I went WOT one time. As MTV10 said, the jerk is there at different rpm's.

Little update.
Went out tonight once the traffic settled and got some good, solid, hard driving in. Car pulls strong. Hard to tell a difference between V5 but it feels good.
I'm ditching the burble effect. I'm going back to EC tomorrow and am going to request the V6 tune without this feature. As much as I love the cracks and pops the car is literally not driveable above 3000 RPM. Go anywhere near the throttle while the car is under compression and it just jerks forward. Below 3K RPM this is not present. It has to be associated with the burble effect.

Updated: Just got done doing back to back v6 then v5, my original review still stands.
Try like MTV10 said, Lift at ~4000RPM
Let engine compress down to 3500RPM
Get back on throttle and it jerks forward violently at the first touch of the throttle.
3rd gear and 4th gear it feel likes grinding w/jerking. I tested about 8 different times and each time I could make it happen.
I am not sure if it would be smoother. Would be something to test though for someone that has both tunes. It is almost like the car can not decide what to do or got confused.

The car is very smooth when it doesn't make burble/pop.
However, the car is making the extra noise is likely contributing to the 'throttle smoothness'. Would be nice to log with a WBO2 sensor to see what is going on when it is making extra noise.
My RX7 would throw flames whenever you wanted when decelerating, but was still smooth when getting back on the throttle.
I haven't been able to get on the throttle due to having my winter tires on the car, but would like to just get a regular v6 tune, or go back to v5.

same thing happens at up to 5k rpm... let fall back 500-1000 rpms and slightest throttle back on is a jerk.
I'm going to request V6 no Burble... otherwise back to V5.

I've been emailing Jerry all morning about this.
I pointed him to this thread.
He said he's going to try to recreate it on the shop car as well as email all of the test car owners to see if they can duplicate the issue.

While the burble was a chuckle, I think I want to lose it either way:
- not for me, IMO not for the AMG, it's more of a gimmick and not a traditional AMG growl
- it just seems like another reason for a respectable man in blue to assume you are hot *******

I also emailed the same just before this reply...

When you are coasting there should be no fuel being injected, so when you get back on it, the throttle plate opens, along with addition of air and fuel and spark.
That shouldn't result in a jerk.
But yes you did say the c63 doesn't like running lean. Again a WBO2 sensor would be helpful, as you could tell what was going on when you got back on the throttle.

Thank for all the emails guys... We are not sending out any further upgrades until each of you with an issue is taken care of.
Now, if you are having a problem, please email me (jerry@eurocharged.com) and I'll get you taken care of by the end of the day.
I will be testing each of your files on our bone stock C63 here at the shop and will ensure the issue is gone.
The problem seems to be limited to 1 SW version as of now...which is good. I've done 60+ of these upgrades and most users are not having the issue.
Send me those emails if you haven't so I know who each of you are!
Stay tuned!!

Exactly. This is why I don't mind the immaterial upgrade charge every couple of years.
