Help ! Wheel fitment and offset 19 inch rims

Hey everbody, Great forum ! I apologize if this has been discussed before but im about to pick up my 2013 C63 Sedan this week and i have found some great 19 inch wheels, they are 19x8.5 offset 40 and 19x9.5 rear offset 40, the wheels are AMG Reps.
I'll be wrapping them in Michelins PSS 235/35/19 front and 255/30/19 Rear....i am a bit of a noob so before i purhcase them i wanted to to get some insight as to whether this combination will fit the car without any rubbing issues (car will be stock height)...Any feedback would be great or if anyone has this comnination that could help, Thanks :)

According to WillTheyFit.com you are good to go as far as clearance is concerned. Both axles come in with 7 mm more inside clearance from the suspension and will poke out 20 mm more than the stock 8 x 19 ET45 and 9 x 19 ET 54s.
From what I understand you should be OK with just 1/2" increase in wheel width as you are not approaching the limits of width generally recommended.
My winters are running on 8.5 inch wheels ET 43 on BA with 235/35 tires.

He is new and trying to get oriented. He does not have all the luxuries we have in North America being in Chile if you read his first post.
Give him a break. :)

Did not know common sense was a North American luxury...hmmm ;). If he went through the FAQ and read some posts, you could pick up how things are ran in any forum.

This right here Alex.currie44, the fact that the sarcasm went by him and he missed the "why u" meme ... this is why things happen.

Front no issue rear will be close. Pss tires run wider then most. If you lower it. It will def rub. Stock height it's a gamble. I personally wouldnt go that aggressive of a rear offset.

Rpjizzle 11-29-2016 02:23 PM

can i post a pic of the result ? or do i need to post in another thread ..i dont want to make anyone upset :p

Adi-Benz 11-29-2016 06:05 PM

Your choice

you could even post it in the picture thread, which is a better idea.

Roswell 12-03-2016 12:41 PM

19x9.5 +40 rear is very aggressive. U will rub if lowered or at stock height, u won't be able to carry passssngers w/o rubbing.

Looks like u bought the wheels already. Post pics & report back on fitment.

I'll upload some pics in the proper thread after i have washed the car , but im happy with the fitment as i wanted a slightly more aggresive look, The wheels are C63s Reps 19x8.5 -19x9.5 ET 40 all wheels wrapped in Michelin PSS 235/35/19 front and 255/30/19 rear So far no rubbing on my own, with 2 adults in the back also no rubbing.
Thanks to those who offered helpful advice :)
