Missing Original File
Hey guys have any of you attempted to load your original file back on the car but found it to be missing from My Genius? The only file on my unit is my v5 tune. I just sent a note to EC but curious if anyone else has run into this?

I downloaded my original file just last week before my C63 went into the dealership too have my navigation maps updated. Am sure Jerry@Eurocharged will sort the problem out.

if you are showing the v5 tune in your handheld then you have the original file loaded into your car, as in no tune installed. If it were then you would not have the v5 file in the genius as it trades one for the other, you upload the v5 to car and it downloads original to handheld...That is the way these programmers "marry" themselves with the car.....

But check your emails in the sent folder to EC, you should (unless you delete your sent files) still have a copy of your stock file. That is what I did when I sent my stock file to EC to get a v6 version.

I had a similar issue that Jerry is working on now.
I could see the V5 tune, the V6 Tune an the original stock file. When trying to write the V5 tune car says that the V5 tune is already on there, which is correct. When I try to write my stock file or the V6 file, it says that the file is not compatible with the ECU and wont let me write. In other words, glad I have V5 on there now, but cant even re-write to stock.
