2012 C63 Sedan Performance Pack
Help! Need to identify this.

Hi Guys.

Had my C63 sedan for about a week now, when driving the Blind Spot assists just cut out and the two orange symbols in the side mirrors stay solid and it says on dash " Blind Spot assist inoperative " etc..

Turn car off.. turn it back on.. works fine again flashes when cars are next to you etc.. then randomly turns off and comes up with same error message.

I thought it might of been surroundings affecting it however it's happened now 3 times on perfectly clear days.

Car is still under warranty from dealer so needing to identify the issue ASAP so i can take it back and tell them " This issue " needs fixing.

Please see image attached.

You could possibly have a sensor in the rear bumper that has been knocked loose, or there could be a wiring issue cause by either rodents or corrosion in the connectors from water intrusion. We've had plenty of both at my dealer. Obviously it could be anything, but that's a good starting point.

Hey TomC63, I read in other posts that members with the same issue just had the dealer replace the sensors and it fixed the problem. It's probably just one sensor letting you know it's dying lol.
