Traction control sensitivity

Is it possible to adjust the sensitivity of traction control? My 2015 C63 507 seems overly sensitive if I compare it to my 2014 C63. Almost as if it anticipates wheel spin or the very slightest slip and it brakes the wheel.

It also has what, 50 more hp? Maybe that's it? Only settings are ON-Sport-OFF

Yup, 50 more HP could make a difference. A change of tires could do it too - what are you running in the rear? An even longer shot, but or cold weather also makes a difference.

But wait - weren't you just stressing about too much traction on the 507?

Tires are Yokohama Advan Sport, came stock with the car. Happens in cold and warm weather.

As far as too much traction..traction is a good thing but it seems like sometimes i can't even get a hard launch since the traction control kicks in, brakes the wheel and I need to let off the gas.

Trying to figure out if this is how it is and I need to adjust how I accelerate, or if my traction control is over-sensitive.

Launching with it on makes the TC kick in. Then how about you, I don't know, turn it to sport or off for a launch. That took me all of a week to figure out. You can almost never launch this car with ESP on. Best way to launch for me is ESP off, M mode, foot on the brake, 1500 rpm, release the brake, feather the throttle until about 4000 rpm, then WOT (temp and surface dependent) and then bang through the gears. It's not rocket surgery, bro. ESP does not help you on a launch like it does in a Porsche with PDK or a Ferrari. Drive the damn thing.

My Yokohama AD08R tyres are really struggling this winter. They really don't like the cold weather. Add dampness to it and the car fishtails even with TRC turned on (as opposed to the anchors coming on in a straight line).

If yours is happening in warm weather....count your blessings man. I wish mine had the power to do that :y
