Inoperable after tires spin
So after the tires spin, display says inoperable and gas pedal doesn't work. I have to restart the car. I put the car in dyno mode, traction control off, spin the tires, same thing happens. What's the deal??

Don't put it in dyno mode. Turn off ESP, spin tires...still the same issue?

There are tons of things to check before coming here, also searching helps a bit too. Does it say to "see the owners manual" in the message you get...if so, it could be related to this:

Same thing happened to me. The car was a week old and the ESP warning lights came on. It says the same thing that the "ESP is inoperable, check your owners manual". Well the Owners manual doesn't give you any help but says to bring to your dealer. Well I did, they went ahead and take look at it. They found that a control unit (p/n 171-545-05-32) in the steering column control module/angle sensor to be defective. They replaced the angle sensor under warranty (free of charge) and the ESP warning light have turned off. Everything was okay after that.
