Fuel Pump
I have had my '12 C63 for nearly three weeks, and am continuing to learn and enjoy it.

I have a question re starting it. When I press the start button, there is a short mechanical "whirr" sound. It sounds very much like that of the fuel pump on a race engine, although with these you typically need to turn the pump on via a separate switch. Realizing that these motors are based upon the MB AMG race engines, is this what I am hearing?

Probably. I know I hear my fuel pump when I turn the key to ON, wait a second and then hit start.
