I still log in everyday since I joined in 2012 to read up, but don't post much. Everything's been done on this platform and things are starting to be repetitive. Once in a while, there are innovative posts like E85, track alignment, brake ducting, wide bodies, etc. that peaks my interest.
I agree, not a lot of cars out there that I'd trade my C63 for anytime soon.

Pardon me, but I'd have to strongly disagree about there being no exciting or compelling cars on the market. It seems every car maker has some kind of 400-500hp car in their lineup and you can get 700hp for $60k. Used 2-3 yr old cars aplenty with 600hp for <$75k. Electric luniatic speed cars available. If that's your thing. I'd say it's a great time to be a car enthusiast.

I still love this car... and prefer the exterior of the pre-facelift to either model since.
I still get random thumbs up for the looks and/or exhaust.
I still enjoy looking at it while walking to or from it in the parking lot.
I recently got the Eurocharged tune and couldn't be happier with it.

I will drive this until one of us dies.

I can help with that lol for a lot less then 3500!

The market sure has changed. But we love the 63 platform and will still keep pushing and developing on it. (flexfuel/ TT kits / V6 etc)

Looking like a similar situation here. Nothing else lights my knickers on fire quite like this does.

Seeing as there are plenty of 600hp cars for under $75k, which of the lot would you pick?

New any Hellcat, Z06 has deep discounts
Used Z06, Viper, CTS-V, what's the 2014 E63s running these days?

Seems like plenty to me. Go down to 500hp and it's obviously a lot more. I mean it wasn't long ago that you had to drop crazy money for anything in 600hp range. And 700hp wasn't even a thought.

Agree with this, it's nuts the kind of hp and overall performance you can get in a mass-market car. When I was coming up in the car scene in the early 90's, you'd be lucky to have 250hp out of the box, and 400? OMG that was unheard of, a supercar. And now you have even crazier sheit in the higher-end ($150-200k) but sub-Supercar market like the NSX, 570S, the always present Porsche and Ferrari entries, AMG GTS, Huracan, GTR, etc. That entry-level supercar market is getting insane. If I weren't trying to be 'fiscally responsible', there'd be a black 570S sitting in my garage right now.....

Definitely we have wider choices nowadays.
Surely any car manufacturer can make big HPs for less $$$ thanks to FI or electric.
How many of them can make a true sports car that handles, sounds and behaves as it should ?....

Started here years ago with a C32. Not sure if that makes me an "old school" member.
