Any old school members left?
Man time flys, 2009 when I bought my first C63, no one knew what they were back then, it was the second one in the city. Fast forward now everyone knows the name and sound of a C63, they have sure made a name for themselves.
I haven't been on here in a while, not seeing any familiar names, are some of the old school guys floating around still?

I thought about joining before all of you. I just didn't post updates about it every 5 days.

About 1million here, I think only a manager had an 08.
Jason, looks like it, don't recognize anyone anymore, think lots of guys move on. Some of us still holding it down. None of the new cars do it for me.

I think up next will be a Grand SRT. Something with more creature comforts, can tow a track car, good in the snow and not a slouch when you get on it.

I've been here since 09, but don't post much or visit that often anymore. I love AMG and will always have one in my garage, but I've been on an exotic kick and spend most of time on their forums.

There is some familiar names, I come on once and awhile and don't see anyone posting I recognize.
Roadtalon, yep that coupe is actually nice, but the price tag and then mods to get some decent power aren't cheap...
Hey Mort, yep same waiting for winter to be over.

Not too many from your time or just before, Merc. I think I got here around 2012 which was well after you guys and most of the people from then are even gone too.
As for the new coupe, I'm waiting to see what happens to them on the used market. The whole biturbo mod market is pretty expensive though. I'm gearing up to spend $3500 on just a tune for my M157.
Honestly, there is an interesting-ish thread in the w212 forum which starts asking if the m5 is better and ends with BMW/Audi owners (for whatever reason) seem to push the envelope on their cars whereas MB owners ask "will this void my warranty?" In other words, if you want to mod, I think BMW/Audi is where you should be. Want to get in and drive away in something fun and leave it be? MB.

I'm not an old timer by any means, bought my '09 in March of 15. But I do appreciate there are still so many active long-time owners around. A community of support was one factor in favor of this car over other choices. So thanks!

2010 Irridium Silver MB C63 AMG Sedan
I am here. I bought a black 2009 in September of 2009 and found the site a couple months after. Then I traded the 2009 for a 2010 in July of 2010.
Recently its just that like someone said, most of everything mechanically has been discussed. I am still enamored by the looks and performance of the car so I still drool at all the great pics people post. Let's my mind drift when I am at work.
Lots of great members have left and since moved on. This site used to be very funny and sarcastic (in a friendly way) but I feel people's patience have lessoned with the repetitive posts and trolling (me included).
There was a few members C63Guy and the silver dragon, Superlubricity, DadsC63, CEK, DanielMcabe, sincity, Callmiro, that made the site so educational and hilarious...good times, good times.
But time certainly does fly. When this car was new in 2008/2009, I would get so many turning heads and people just gawking at it at stop lights. Now I think only certain people know what it is and enthusiasts are the ones to appreciate the car. I have collected C63Amg and AMG posters, dealer pamphlets, parts, hats, key chains, mugs, etc over time ...and I love the car to bits. I used to be a BMW enthusiast but have since only focused on the AMG brand as the performance has captivated me.

Sorry to derail the thread, but I just wanted to chime in that I got a '14 CPO Grand Cherokee SRT last month and it's been a surprisingly fun to drive a fast land yacht.
