COMAND SCREEN ISSUE
I purchased a W204 C63 approximately 8 months ago.
About 2 months ago, the Comand Screen would retract into it's compartment but the cover would not close properly, either getting stuck half way or just about closing. I would leave it, after a couple of hours when I got back into the vehicle the cover would have closed properly. This problem continued unbated for a while.
However now the Comand Screen will not close full stop, however will retract back into it's compartment on an ad-hoc basis, before returning to the position it should be in when the car is driven.
Whilst all systems operated via the screen work fine, it's driving me mad just because it won't work as it ought to.
Anyone had this problem? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for the reply MBF.
My issue is the opposite, the screen won't go down back into the compartment.
It does go back on it's own will and then will retract back into it's driving position
