Car feels sluggish
Sup guys,
I hope this doesn't turn into another "did you try the search function".
From my research, my best option is to contact Eurocharged to see if they can give me a fix. The issues did come about right after I installed the v6 tune.
My problem,
Issue 1,
The car feels very sluggish in first gear. Then it takes off like a rocket once the car shifts into 2nd. I remember my 1st gear being just as strong as 2nd. The difference is night and day how my 2nd gear pulls compared to 1st.
1st gear pullfeels like, if you ever drove a big turbo car, like turbo lag, then second gear feels like as if that big turbo spooled up to fill psi.
Issue 2,
Driving normally, it varies in gears, the car will kind of hesitate around 3k RPM.. almost like a fuel cut, it kind of bogs. This is very random and is not consistent.
All these things seem to point to a tune maybe needing adjusting?
Not check engine, ever.
Did any of you have any of this issues with ECV6 tune?
How did you go about fixing it?
I also read that it might be a good idea to reset the ECU?
Thanks,

I don't have v6 can't comment on that. I have read people with issues and hearing this the v6 tune makes me a little nervous upgrading to it. Your best bet is like you said calling ec first. As far as the first gear issue are you sure it isn't a traction issue. Traction control kicking in?

I would also revert back to the previous tune/file you had when the car was running well and see if the problem persists. If the problem remains then it probably isn't the tune and if it goes away then it is a safe bet it was indeed the tune.
Also, I am not sure on this but I would give EC a call (or PM) and see if they do anything different with the v6 file for headers cars vs. non-header cars.
Once you nail it down, stick with what works. Even if it means reverting to the old file and giving up a few hp, if any.
Start there and if none of that works come back and we'll go from there. But no CELs makes me believe a small change in the files really didn't sit well with your car.

The v5, in my opinion, is and will remain the "best" overall tune/file that EC put out. Introducing the "blip" mod giving some added snaps and pops was awesome. But people kept saying go a little more aggressive, lean in a little, find us a few extra hp please! And here we are, they found you the few extra hp but it is right on the edge of working in some cars and not so well in others whereas the v5 was pretty safe all around.

Hey, try clearing adaptations by disconnecting your battery overnight. (:

My V6, which is just a normal tune (none of the "new" fancy crap) seems to be the most refined to date and I've been with them since V2.
