Keep an eye out they do pop up, but you have to be on it. I got a set of mbh headers, mids, and xpipe in January. Off a forum member picked up Locol too worked out great. Good luck with your search.

it's actually got the secondary cats removed for straight pipes and the resonator replaced with an x pipe. i'm actually in northern virginia right now instead of nyc. i bought the car used and someone told me it has headers, but i have yet to verify. apparently 6 of my sensors are good to go, but 2 of them aren't. not sure what mods were done to the car before me as i bought it out of state and didn't think to ask about emissions.
if i put the secondary cats back on, will that get me to pass? or should i go to a local tuner and ask them to fix it somehow? worst case, i'm guessing i can take these headers out and just sell them so i can pass somehow?

Heads up to fellow CA folks considering headers - I passed OBDII emissions test no problem Dec 2015 with MHP LTH and Eurocharged V5 tune. Have 200 cell cats to cut down on smell. Unsure how visual inspection would go but haven't had to deal with that yet.

I'm going to Hell and back trying to get my car to pass in AZ (I have LTH) I even installed aftermarket vibrant EPA certified cats and they still won't pass me thru the visual inspection.... all my monitors with the exception of catalyst show ready so that part is legal in AZ (you can have 1 monitor show not ready). So I say make sure you can have 2 monitors show not ready in your state and hope they don't make you go thru a visual inspection.
It's been a 2 month nightmare for me so far and I don't have an end in sight shy of registering the car as a collector (which I don't wanna do incase I ever wanna sell the car...)

i took it again today and they told me to keep driving around a few more days. i told him i drove it the past month so i'm not sure what driving another few days is going to do. he asked if i disconnected the battery at all. i told him i did about 3 weeks ago and he said that's probably why.
i'm going to keep driving it, but i still don't see how that's going to magically change anything.
