They had no way to siphon so I'm now beating on the car on the highway trying to empty the tank. Fill it with fresh 91oct and get on the dyno. The tuner also added a few degrees of timing this morning.

Alright so here are today's runs compared to last years best run. This is with new oem ngk plugs and fresh 91oct fuel. I will be talking to the tuner to see if he can get the car on his dyno and retune it.
Considering the conditions and different temperature possibilities I wanna say we could be running same as before but the port and polish has yeilded zero gains

And this is including the additional 'few degree's of timing' from earlier in the afternoon?
Damn....I'm stumped
At least you were able to get it back up to nearly 490whp which is still part of a pretty exclusive club tbh.

nope that 490whp is last years best before the port and polish. We are comparing to that number. Yes the tuner had added it through the flash he didn't do a full retune.

not bad and probably the highest numbers on 91 oct.If you lived near me you would break 500 with our 93 we have here.
do you have a p31 development car? if so you can see if your tuner can rev it out a little more.im running mine to 7500 and makes power right up to about 7k but I'm still stock exhaust

Ahhh i see......well...there's still hope then. Fingers crossed he didn't add it to the correct area of the map via the flash loader.

You can empty fuel from rail you need a hose and a fitting

How much experience does this tuner have with the MB W156 ? Have you considered going to Eurocharged ? It seems like those guys have a good handle on this motor and know what they are doing. I have heard of guys getting 500 rwhp with just headers and exhaust with a full port and polish you should be 525ish...

Really? Even Dads C63 with probably the most NA mods of any barely cracked 500 whp. He basically had headers, dyno tune, straight through exhaust, and race gas. Most headers/tune cars get around 460-480 whp. The one BS that claimed over 500 whp with just FI headers/ROW/tune was pretty far off. That car put down something like 465 whp IIRC when Auto Talent actually did a baseline vs modded dyno. No C63 with just headers and a tune will crack 500 whp. I'd bet my house on it. Headers/tune/flex fuel will get you over 500 whp NA without PNP, but that's the only way to crack 500 without PNP

You need to stop with the misinformation (this is not the first time). New members will believe it and spread the cancer...

please enlighten us with a 500whp car on 91 with just tune and headers.
525whp is what a stage 1 supercharged car puts down lol

C63 507 AMG DA Car #19
OP... also note the weather temp/DA on the different days your tested car on dyno. This can make a diff.
If base-line was 40 deg good DA VS now it's getting rather HOT in Houston.... you can lose some here.

Yeah I believe the conditions are what changed the numbers. I may not have realistically lost any power but definitely haven't gained any "yet." The shop that dynos my car recently did a e63 m157 with very impressive numbers on 91oct. I may jump to that tuner and also do e54.
Here is that cars sheet. Only mod is downpipes.

lol some guys are just ridiculous. if you wanna break 500whp it's as easy as going to a dyno that reads high. HP figures mean nothing unless you are doing direct comparisons of all cars on that same dyno. also things as simple as temperature variation can cause huge false figures. if the dyno air temp has a higher value than actual, it'll make the dyno read high on a Dynojet. something like that.
