Odd sounds from wheels after changing bolts
Hey all,
Newbie alert, I just got new mcguard locking screws for my car and I installed them without lifting the car (quickly removed one bolt from each wheel and replaced with locking bolt - also checked that all other bolts were properly secure).
After this I drove the car 15 feet and heard weird noises from the wheels every few feet, clonks and what not.
I immediately parked the car and lifted up each corner of the car and loosened every bolt and tightened the wheels back on again appropriately.
After this I drove the car another 15 feet and the same sounds are present; I parked the car up now, because the sounds were worrying.
Question is; is this a normal sound of the wheels setting in / will the sound be gone after driving further than 15-20 feet?
Thanks in advance!

They may be 27mm and still rub. There's only about 2-3mm of clearance between the OEM bolts and the parking brake assembly in the rear hubs. I see nice HREs on your car pic sig... even with 27mm length bolts, if your aftermarket wheels have a very sligltly thinner mounting pad, the rear bolts could still end up hitting the e-brake assembly. Glad you sorted it out.
