They do look cool especially on white, but I also assume it is stick on and will have an edge to it you can catch on and might feel funny when using the handle, but do like the look!

Aren't the chrome OE ones also stick-on or held by adhesive? I'd think that these carbon ones replace that altogether, avoiding the problems above? There's no evidence in that picture of any edge, but could have been Pchoped out. But if these go OVER the chrome, agree that's garbage.

Those things are all over eBay. They're clip on covers and from other pics I've seen online look like chit. I doubt Robeson's making a full or wrapped CF handle, but we'll see.
Not mush work. Inside the door there is a plug that you remove and stick a torx wrench in to unscrew. The screw is about 6 in deep so you will need a torx wrench at least that long
I saw this too and it is a great link to file for future but I am still not clear as to whether the chrome bits are a film. I tend to think not but cannot be sure.

I found this image by typing in "w204 carbon fiber," ....theres a lot of mods people have done in the past but were not common, so I was looking to see if I could find anything different. Which reminds me of another piece...

I like the top ones that just replace the upper portion of the handle. Does anyone have a writeup of how the handle comes off? I know there is a torx bit there on the handle.
