The shoes are a dark navy blue.. I was on vacation in casual mode hanging out with a buddy. I was not concerned about socks. This is actually my goto casual mode. I have to dress business casual on a daily basis and its nice to not have to care once and a while.

The concert was good and I kind of liked the opening group. I was alittle disappointed by the clarity of the sound system. It sounded muffled and distorted. You could really tell when Bono spoke to the crowd. We had fantastic seats Club level on the 40 yard line. My friend is a disabled vet so we got free parking right next to the front door.. literally 100 feet from the stadium. It was awesome !!

I'm done with concerts at Jerry World. The sound ranges from bad to terrible, depending on location in the stadium. For the cost of seeing a tier 1 act, I'm just going to make a trip out of it. Go to a smaller/better venue. It'll be an excuse to put some serious miles on the motorcycle in the future...

Sound in Vancouver was actually pretty darned good. Stadium shows do just generally suck though. Your two choices are get in the crush of humanity down front or be miles away. Generally speaking I don't go to them, unless I am just there for the spectacle. To U2's credit they do always seem to understand that's what they are doing - playing the live soundtrack to a spectacle.
This was my father in laws all time favourite album, and I took him for his birthday, so it was worth the cash and effort just for the brownie points. I had fun though.
