I would if I still had mine. I did mine awhile back though. Out of curiosity, what are you planning to do with it? Do I smell a catch can project?

I half considered doing this myself when I replaced mine last year, but once I'd factored in how much it would cost for a hella tidy set up in my nice fancy-car engine bay....i decided that it would best to opt for a weistec unit. And even then....who cares man, just let the system do it's thing
I wonder if anybody has been able to log any increased amount of timing from running one of these. Or rather...if anybody has logged any decreased timing from not running these and then seen the numbers go in the right direction after installing catch can.

I think it's more to obtain the thread size/pitch etc so that a nice bolt on piece can be constructed, much like the one from Weistec.

This is all you get...
Easiest way to make your own would be to cut the tube and use a barb on each end. Then whatever hose you use to route to an aftermarket can could be spliced in.
If you do that, a used PCV is useless.
Unless it's something you can do yourself. I wouldn't waste the money/effort to make up adapters like Weistec did.

There's no hardware with the PCV.

I shook the pipe around and couldn't hear anything rattle around like a normal PCV, but then I just thought maybe it's some sort of refined MB design.

Oh......I didn't know that, thank you I was always under the impression that the big fat bit did all the PCV-witchcraft. I guess it really just is what Mercedes call it...a breather pipe.

There's no hardware as in, you don't get a new bolt to measure the thread/pitch from.

It's quite easy just pull the tube off of each piece and there's a barbed end put a new hose on each end running to your catch can
All I did was throw some sealant on each end of the hose and it's been trouble free for over 12000kms
best part is the cost with an expensive mishimoto catch can was like $200
