Another testimonial - Nitrogen in tires is not a gimmick

The Ford study is an interesting read. I guess there are a lot of opinions, and also I imagine a lot of debate about some of the benefits.
In the case of C63 owners, I suspect that the "longer structural life" of tires filled with Nitrogen is not of much interest since we seem to rub all the tread off them long before they get "old".

Interesting. They tested using a 50/50 mix of oxygen and nitrogen...that's not air, that's an artificial concoction meant to accelerate aging.
Good thing you can fill the inside of the tire with nitrogen though and then only the outside is being attacked by evil oxygen and ozone

Even though yours 'seem' to remain constant because of the temperature-controlled overnight storage, that factor goes away as soon as you start driving in the elements. If you checked pressures at work before driving home, you'd be seeing a very different scenario.

I love this thread. It's like watching a monkey trying to **** a football.
