frustrating issue possibly strut mount
I have a 2013 w204 C63 with about 30K miles. It starts to make a clunking noise when turning the steering wheel rapidly(parallel parking, three point turn, in&out of garage, etc). It also vibrates the steering wheel and feels like the wheel is skipping, and it's very noticeable specially when cold. It drives fine, no noise or vibration at speed, so I strongly spect the strut mount/bearing went bad.
Dropped off at the dealer and 2 days later they text me no problem has found?

I was battling a clunking noise from free front suspension for over a month (it could be replicated by pushing down hard by hand into the strut mount with the hood opened).
I replaced my tie rods, had all suspension components checked several times at different shops, including a sophisticated computer test of the shocks and springs.
Eventually I had my front rubber bump stops trimmed and now the problem is gone.
