EC V5 and California smog check

To those who have the V5 in CA, have you had any issues with smog inspection? I'm pretty sure it would be OK, but I normally flash it back to stock before smogging. This time, however, I'd prefer not to do so bc I feel like too much flashing isn't a good thing. Maybe I'm paranoid. Anyway, would love to hear what you guys in CA think. I am completely stock except for the tune. I checked the EC website and it didn't say anything about it. Thanks.

I didn't have a problem. I drove about 40 miles first just to make sure everything was on and up to temp but there were no issues when I got smogged. Some of their tunes though the O2 sensors are off so those people had to get a new tune from them so they could pass.

Well I live in MA with same strict emission laws with a V5 tune. I got away with not flashing tune back to stock one time then the following year my car was flagged by State and failed.

Just flash to stock because V5 tune turns off cats.
