I bought an eBay special pair of side mirrors, $135 shipped. They came with "puddle lights" but I didn't really care for those anyhow. I tried splicing the wires for the signal, but I still couldn't get them to turn on so I gave up.

Easy install:
Pull off mirrors , use some force with a quick jolt (push from bottom, pull from top)
Disconnect wires
Unscrew 3 screws, take off first plastic cover
Unscrew 3 motor screws, remove wires, take out.
The rest falls apart via clips

u gona cause a short by doing that. use a multi meter and check for signal

Actually both wires for the mirror signal have power. No short.

Do you have a link to the ones you purchased on Ebay? Also what year is your AMG? I want to do the same but most of the stuff I see on Ebay doesn't say if compatible with C63 (I'm not sure if the C63 mirrors are any different than the C300 etc.
