I have an ECU out of my 2013 Sedan that functions, but has port communication issues. It operates fine, the car runs and has a bench tune already in it, no codes on the dash. Only reason I found out about the port communication issue was because I was flagged during MA state inspection for 2 monitors not being ready and we had trouble re-flashing to stock through the port. 
Can still us it to pull and read codes just fine though.
