Rear Center Seatbelt Stuck
My rear center seat belt will not release at all. (2009 sedan)
I did lean the seat forward to relieve some tension and try to release, but it won't budge.
Any ideas how to resolve or remove to reset somehow?
Thanks.

Do you mean you cannot pull it out or it will not retract?

I have seen many posts on it happening on the ml350 seats think they all are similar maybe search on that. It is a ***** to get to it I will tell you that the seat is basically staples together and has some hidden fasteners to get the back off to get to it.
here is an example https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ben...n.html%3famp=1
looks like the trick is pop the seat bottom, no tools needed and then remove torx bolt holding belt to floor of car and then you can release the tension and pull it out. Looks like the stop button sometimes comes off and then it goes in too far.

It is actually just the seatbelt mechanism in the top of the seat that is stuck.
i can lean the seat forward to release the tension on the belt, but it just won’t come out.
anyone know how to access this mechanism to rest or release it?
