Hey guys, curious to know what actual timing values you're seeing in the powerband of the M156 - 5000+ rpm
I'm seeing 21 - 23//24 with an air temp of around 110F (guessing air temp is a factor as to how much retard there is)
How does that compare to you guys with headers/tune?
I'm thinking my values are pretty low for an N/A motor, but perhaps it's normal for an M156 etc

Perfect - thanks for the information sir. Pretty much sums up what I wanted to know and kinda what I had in mind for an NA motor, figures-wise
Now I need to speak with EC to find out what the commanded timing for my car is. If it's in the 30's, I'll consider replacing the knock sensor in case it's picking up excessive noise and go from there.

For reference, I did another set of pulls this evening with much lower air temps in the 69-72F range and still only seeing a max of 24 degree's.
Knock sensor is on order from MB just to have a fresh one in there before I go back to the dyno for a retune.
