Got "Excessive Noise" Ticket in Cali VC 27150
Hey guys, quick question from anybody who has dealt with this before. I was exiting a gas station and hit the pedal a little too hard, a cop was turning behind me and heard me. Pulled me over and gave me a VC 27150 (a) Excessive Noise citation. The ticket is also marked as correctable.
My question is will I be able to just pay off the full bail amount without having to correct the ticket? I was driving my c63 and it has long tube headers, it would cost me a few grand to revert the headers to stock only to put them right back on. I would much rather just pay it in full and be done with it.
The ticket is not marked state ref anywhere which I am hoping is good news. I know I will know for sure once I get my courtesy notice in the mail, but it would be nice to get some feedback.
From what I've read, its tickets for VC 27156 or VC 27151 which may be required to actually fix the equipment, but there are many conflicting stories.
