damp rag and maybe a toothbrush for tight spaces. That's all I ever use.

Almost nothing. A microfiber damped with water and a bit of car shampoo. That's pretty much it.

Get some engine brite or any desired engine cleaner spray on areas that are dirty ( make sure engine is NOT HOT and cool when doing this ) and just agitate the spots where its hard to clean then just lightly mist the whole engine with no sort of water pressure from your garden hose from about 2 feet away.

I use detailing fluid, micro fibre rags and a make up brush for the nooks and crannies. She never missed it!

Try Tub O' Towels for hard to reach dirty place, works pretty well. Follow up with a microfiber to wipe dry immediately.
