How should I make my car louder!???
I can't decide what to do with my C63 AMG, I would like it to be louder when at idle, as well as in low or high rpms..... in other words I just want it louder !!!!! I love my stock exhaust and I want to keep it, I don't want to get a new exhaust, so what other mods should I consider doing.... resonator delete? Axle back? Intake??? Etc etc...... I haven't heard many c63 in person so I'm not sure what to go off of!

Only about a million threads on this subject, basically leave the resonator alone, do a secondary cat delete - search that or mike's power pipe, pretty easy bolt in option or you can have a muffler shop do it, will sound exactly the same just 20 or 25% louder.

This.
And to answer your next question, no you wont get any check engine lights by removing secondary cats.
And to answer the question after that, no you don't have to get a tune for this, either.
And to answer the question after that, there are options already out there (such as Mike's powerpipe or Eurocharged) that offer the hardware needed to do this "mod" cleanly which I recommend because clean is sexy.
And to answer the question after that, no, you do not have to use those types of products and can just go to a decent exhaust shop in your area to have things cut out and replaced which will save you a few bucks. You'll want to make sure stainless steal is used.
And to answer the question after that, the ticking you sometimes hear on startup is normal, it's your lifters and will go away after a few minutes of driving and the car is warmed up.
If the ticking doesn't go away and gets louder as you go through the rpms come back and see us.
Enjoy

Which will make it so your car wont pass inspections in states that require OBDII plug-in inspections and be an annual pain for you.
The primaries also aren't exactly in a convenient spot, either. Secondaries are. Also -- gutting everything can be pretty loud and more often than not people end up back here asking how to quiet their car down.

The easiest thing to do would just be to remove the stock exhaust manifolds completely and run without them, but keep the rest of the exhaust in place. It's really the best of both worlds because then it will be really loud but you keep the stock exhaust look.

Could you imagine how loud that would be? I may have heard a video once where someone simply just started their car without any manifolds and it was insane... Let alone putting it under any load. I was dropped / thrown into walls as a baby though so that may not have been a c63.

Hold my beer. I've got two snails and 5.5 liters that'll put that to shame. *Slips on depends*

I was thinking you could do a secondary cat delete, delete the resonator and put cherry bombs in place of them, then delete the muffler and have them put on these tips it will retain the factory look!

The difference isn't that the OP is a woman, although it could be safely assumed given their name... The difference is she didn't take the first few posts and immediately go on defense calling everyone every name in the book.
You see -- The first couple of responses such as:
And the link from here:
Even my post with the "And to answer your next question" is usually met with some type of resistance because all the alphas see it as condescending which it kind of is but this stuff has been covered only about a million times.
Instead, the OP overlooked all of that, took the advice and information of value and did something with it instead of crying about it. It has nothing to do with being a woman because the excuse to turn this thread in the direction you see all to often was definitely there.
Get out of here with your garb. She's just more mature than the rest of us.
