I'm intermittently getting the autolamps inop message on my 08 c63. Everything works fine, wipers, map lights, etc. Just the autolamps are mostly just turning the headlamps on most of the time when it shouldn't. There are no codes in any of the modules. Any suggestions where to start? Switch or rain/light sensor.

any update on this; issue solved? i'm experiencing a similar issue. auto lamp inop, wipers work fine.
